Other Ways to Volunteer

Community Volunteers increase the effectiveness of our program by sharing a wealth of gifts with each child. They donate services as Board or Program Committee members, tutors, Meal Moms and Dads, fundraisers, mentors, and office professionals.

Administrative Volunteers help with routine office tasks or development activities, including fundraising, special events, administrative support and seasonal tasks.

Program Volunteers perform program-related services or help with household tasks such as cooking dinner, helping with and teaching scholars about gardening and home maintenance.

Youth Volunteers work directly with the children, either one-on-one or in groups. They can be mentors, babysitters, respite providers, field trip chaperones, and more.

All volunteers must undergo a screening procedure. Every child in Boys Hope Girls Hope has been entrusted to us by his or her parent/guardian, so each community volunteer must be screened according to our guidelines.

To begin the screening process, please fill out the application and contact our Community Resource Coordinator for more information. You will receive a packet including volunteer opportunities and additional information about Boys Hope Girls Hope Cincinnati.
